Homemade Peppermint Latte with Caribbrew's Medium Roast Haitian Coffee
This seasonal drink will get you in the Holiday spirit. Who doesn't love a refreshing, sweet, and minty latte? This recipe is easy, quick, and delicious!
- Caribbrew Medium roast Haitian coffee
- Candy Cane
- Honey or any syrup (used to coat the glass)
- Hand frother
- Coffee brewing machine
You can also use peppermint syrup to make this drink. Here I used crushed candy canes for my peppermint latte!
First you brew your coffee as you like, I used my french press to brew my medium roast. I used 6 oz of water per ounce of coffee.
While coffee is brewing, I crushed my candy canes finely, almost like sugar.
Now let the fun begin.
First you coat the rim of your glass with honey, then sprinkle the crushed candy canes on it. That makes for a lovely cup!
Now you add the remaining crushed candy canes to the glass, pour your hot coffee, and stir it. Once the candy canes are fully melted, your coffee is now peppermint flavored.
The next step is to foam your milk with your frother, then pour it over your coffee slowly. Here you have a delicious peppermint latte, made with simple ingredients right at home!
