This coffee is what you get served when visiting a Haitian household or at a beach resort in Haiti's finest coastal destinations.
Dark and aromatic and heavy bodied, it is less acidic and less bitter than most darker roasts. This is coffee is loved by many coffee connoisseurs.

This blend is made of the best Arabica Beans. It is a strong coffee full of flavor and with very little acidity.
We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
FYI: the coffee will come in a slightly different packaging. Be patient with us until we post the final product pictures.Read more...
Because my father was from Haiti, I decided to try this coffee which would go to support people in his homeland--its promise of having a smooth finish rather than the usual slightly acidic aftertaste of coffee sounded enticing since sometimes you want the mouthfeel of coffee to linger after you drink it but not with acidic tones. Caribbrew delivered on that smooth, satisfying flavor fully with a rich fragrance. Although not so dark a roast as other coffees made expressly for espresso, Caribbrew dark roast beans are perfect for grinding for my morning cappuccino, marrying well with the milk foam to produce a cup that I can enjoy quietly so as fully to appreciate its rich, satisfying taste and smell. I definitely intend to order again since it supports a good cause and I want others (such as my siblings) to learn about this terrific product!
I agree that the dark roast is not quite as dark as I expected, but it certainly is GOOD! I love the richness, and I love the fact that I can support Haiti!
I also bought the Caribbean Spiced Coffee, but apparently it was ground for use with coffee filters. Is it available for preparation in a French press pot?
Haitian Dark Roast coffee is delicious. It has a strong but not bitter flavor. Just what I need to start the day.
I love Haiti, and I your coffee. I was surprised that your dark roast was not very dark, but it is quite delicious. I just switched from a coffee subscription company to Caribbrew because I want to support the Haitian farmers. Keep up the good work.
Mwen renmen Ayiti, mwen renmen cafe pa w. Ou sezi m, paske kafe nwa a pat trè nwa. Men li bon gou kamenm. Mwen fèk chanje soti nan yon lòt kompani, paske mwen vle sipote jadenye Ayisyen yo. Kompliman!
Has good flavor. I prefer a darker roasted coffee tho.
